Incentive Without Walls Loan Fund

Purpose of the program

The purpose of the IWW Loan fund is to stimulate private investment in the downtown area while helping recruit and/or retain jobs, develop or strengthen new or existing businesses, and create a stronger tax base.

Use of Funds

Projects that includes acquisition or rehabilitation of properties in Downtown Hutchinson that lead directly to private investment, job creation or retention, establishing or expanding viable businesses, or creating a stronger tax base.

Guidelines

• Zero-interest loan up to $20,000 payable over 1-7 years
• Project must be located in Downtown Hutchinson
• 1:3 match required; $20,000 maximum public funding; $60,000 minimum private match
